Adrienne Sommerville-Kiamie VIOLA
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Adrienne Sommerville-Kiamie now lives in Westchester with her husband and two children. An active Orchestral Musician, Mrs. Sommerville-Kiamie performs with the New York Philharmonic, the Lion King on Broadway, Baltimore Symphony and the Kennedy Centre Opera House Orchestra. She has been a member of the Richmond Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, Syracuse Symphony and was Co-Principal of the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas. Mrs. Sommerville-Kiamie received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the Eastman School of Music, where she was also awarded the prestigious Performer’s Certificate.
Since moving to New York, she has toured Japan with the New York City Opera Orchestra and was in the Orchestra for Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular. Her Motion Picture/Television soundtrack recordings include Michael Bublé Christmas special, The Greatest Showman, A Dog’s Purpose, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and West Side Story. She can also be found performing with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and the North Eastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic.
